Recurring lower back pain, including discomfort that flares up with everyday movement.

Every visit starts with a careful, step-by-step assessment, so you know exactly what's wrong and how long it will take to put right. Gentle adjustments, private rooms, and a plan you actually understand.
Assessment first
Every visit starts with working out what's actually going on before any treatment begins. That assessment is what decides whether the plan is adjustments, hands-on therapy, home exercises, or a combination of the three.
Recurring lower back pain, including discomfort that flares up with everyday movement.
Restricted movement or discomfort through the neck and pelvis.
Hip pain that shows up specifically during walking or activity.
Headache-related tension addressed through hands-on treatment.
Ongoing wrist pain and reduced movement, treated over a course of sessions.
Adjustments and hands-on therapy are only part of the picture, what you do between visits matters too.
Where it's relevant, that means specific exercises for the imbalance behind the pain, not just generic stretches.
Ratio adjusted to your stage of recovery
Chiropractic adjustments to address the area causing pain.
Targeted therapy used alongside adjustments for specific complaints.
Hands-on muscle work used to loosen the area before adjustment.
Exercises to do between visits, aimed at the imbalances behind the pain, not just the pain itself.

Injury care
Recovering from a workplace injury or a motor vehicle accident comes with its own paperwork as well as its own pain.
The clinic works with WorkCover and CTP claims, alongside a treatment plan built from a proper assessment of the injury.
After an accident or injury
Chiropractic care for injuries covered under WorkCover.
Care following a traffic accident, covered under CTP (Compulsory Third Party) insurance.
A careful assessment before treatment, so you understand what's being checked and why.
Adjustments combined with therapies such as massage, low-frequency therapy or shockwave, depending on the injury.
“He started with a careful, step-by-step assessment and explained what he was checking and why. During treatment he combined low-frequency therapy, shockwave, targeted massage, and precise adjustments... I felt immediate improvement walking out, especially in my lower back.”

The practitioners
Back Care Chiropractic Clinic is run by Dr. Jun Choi and Dr. Su-hwan, and the visit is built around what you actually need rather than a generic ten-minute adjustment.
That can mean warming and loosening the area with tools first, a plain-language explanation of what's being treated, or exercises to take home.
Works through a step-by-step assessment and explains each technique in plain language before treating.
Looks at imbalances beyond the immediate complaint and sets home exercises to go with treatment.
Muscles are warmed and loosened with tools before any adjustment, rather than a quick adjustment alone.
Consultations available in Korean, including help with insurance reimbursement paperwork.
“With Dr Jun, it's not a quick 10 minute adjustment and you're out the door...he warms and loosens up your muscles with a variety of tools first before the adjustment. He is gentle (I've been to some chiro's who are quite rough when they adjust) and has such a kind manner.”

A course of care
Some people notice a difference the same visit; others are working through a longer-standing issue that takes a course of sessions. Either way, the plan is reviewed as you go rather than set once and left alone.
Assessment first, so the plan matches what's actually causing the problem.
Initial adjustments and hands-on therapy focused on the presenting complaint.
Continued treatment and home exercises, reviewed and adjusted as things progress.
Some conditions, such as tendinitis, are followed over a course of several sessions rather than one visit.
